With a large library of VSTs and plethora of synthesizers and midis, I take great pride in writing a variety of multimedia music. Be it a jazzy detective style soundtrack to something purely drone-based and "spacey", I love immersing myself in new sounds. Similarly, I love exploring new and exciting instrumental combinations for live music. I often compose in Finale, be it a multimedia or live performer. For multimedia projects, the midi export of this goes to Ableton where I fine tune the sounds, and final cuts are made in Adobe Audition. Tracks can be written to loop, layer, and can be exported in any desired format.
*With live music, I have written a variety of works such as a three movement piano solo, a four movement saxophone sonata, a bassoon and viola duet, and a work for full wind ensemble. I was commissioned by the Kansas State University foundation to create a piano solo with spoken dialogue for the commemoration of their "Innovation and Inspiration" philanthropy campaign, as seen below.
My multimedia credits are equally varied. I have worked on several independent video games, ranging from 8-bit platformers to visual novels to horror rpgs. I have also provided to score to several student and professional animations.
Below are examples and links to multimedia projects that I have worked on.
